Representing Toronto Artists.

I absolutely love Toronto artists - specifically under the R&B/Hip-Hop genre. However, I had a hard time introducing my favourite tracks to others in an engaging manner that is not just a Spotify playlist. I wanted to create a project that represents Toronto artists who are underrated but in an interactive way. By using TouchDesigner, I made a creative streaming library that gives a 30-second sample of a few R&B artists within the GTA. The video is overlapped with the CN Tower and the initial music video for visuals.

The key takeaway of this project was understanding how challenging it was to bring my vision to life. TouchDesigner was a hard program for me and in all honesty, I probably would not be able to replicate this again. However, it made the project very enjoyable in terms of having a creative direction and if I could create something similar like this to educate people about Toronto Artists, I would be GLAD to do so.
